Blog Cliches

Several months ago Cameron and I were talking about well-known blog cliches. Specifically, titling the post with some shitty play on words and adding an unexpected, maybe-clever-maybe-not final line — normally contrarian in tone to the rest of the story — to the post. In retrospect, Cameron may have just been making fun of me and my blog.

When he was trying to come up with an example of one of these contrarian maybe-clever-maybe-not final lines, I suggested “As if! Peace!” I think we laughed for a solid ten minutes, and decided I should end all of my blogs with “As if! Peace!” to increase my readership.

Pff. As if! Peace!

    Mom,

We’re talking about Bill and Cameron here. We’re probably talking more in the neighborhood of 15-20 minutes.
